Established in 1970, the club has over the many years supported our growing community and shared many friendships and social activities.
Kingscliff, the Tweed Coast’s original seaside town, has welcomed growth without loosing its laid-back ambiance.
Similarly, Kingscliff Rotary is a friendly club, welcoming of new members and those seeking to get engaged with their community – both locally and around the globe!

Towards Respectful Relationships Film Project

The Towards Respectful Relationships program is an innovative 8-week, trauma-informed initiative designed to support Year 10 students who have been directly or indirectly impacted by domestic and family violence (DFV). Through the creative process of facilitated film-making, students are provided with a safe, structured, and supportive environment where they can explore personal experiences, develop confidence, and strengthen emotional wellbeing.
More than just a filmmaking project, the program uses storytelling as a powerful therapeutic tool for self-expression, connection, and personal growth. Guided by experienced facilitators, professional filmmakers, and supported by school wellbeing staff, students work collaboratively to script, film, and produce short films that encourage conversations around respect, empathy, resilience, and healthy relationships. Participation is entirely voluntary and consent-based, ensuring students feel supported and empowered throughout the process.
The project aims to reduce feelings of isolation, improve emotional regulation, strengthen personal agency, and create meaningful opportunities for young people to feel heard and valued. Over the past four years, the initiative has had a significant positive impact on participating students and school communities, while also raising broader community awareness around respectful relationships and youth empowerment.
